Steve has been playing guitar and singing in public since 1970. Since that time, he has always been a part of the music ministry of his church and playing for youth functions and weddings. He began playing professionally in 1976 with the group "Followers of the Way". Read an interview about FOW at One-Way.org (for the main site, click here. It's worth the time). Most noteworthy, he was the lead guitarist for Ace Rival, a midwestern show band in the 80's. He has played in duet, trio, quartet and quintet folk and rock settings up to present time. Right now, Steve is a solo act and concentrating on songwriting/music publication and promotion. He is the President and founder of Solid Walnut Music, a music publisher and record company dedicated to getting other songwriters heard.
